Family Counselling

Family relationships are at the core of our wellbeing, but they can also be a source of stress when challenges arise. Conflict, communication breakdowns, mental health struggles, major life transitions, or shifts in family dynamics can create tension that has an unhealthy ripple effect on all aspects of our lives. Family therapy provides a supportive and structured space to explore these difficulties, strengthen relationships, and foster a healthier, more connected family unit.

Jen works with the entire family or specific members, depending on the situation, to identify patterns of interaction that may be contributing to conflict or disconnection. Through open and guided conversations, family members gain a better understanding of each other’s perspectives, develop healthier communication skills, and learn more constructive ways to navigate challenges together.

Family therapy can be particularly helpful for those experiencing parenting struggles, blended family adjustments, adolescent challenges, divorce, trauma, or the impact of mental health issues within the family. By working together in therapy, families can build stronger, more resilient relationships and create a supportive environment where each member feels heard, valued, and understood.
